Chase Atlantic played at the Mahaffey Theatre on October 21st, 2024 in St Petersburg,
Florida. Originally slated to play at the Seminole Hard Rock Tampa, the band had to change
venues last minute due to a pair of back-to-back hurricanes, the latter of which forced the
Hard Rock to become a temporary hurricane relief center. Even though the Mahaffey was
an unusual venue for this kind of act, they were very accommodating and their professional
event management team helped deliver another great show for the Chase Atlantic tour.
24k Golden kicked off the night with his cult-classic single “Valentino,” bathed in the glow of
neon graphics floating on stage. He followed with recent releases like his ballad “Dog
House,” and even an unreleased track currently titled “Butterflies.” Before a rendition of
the DaBaby team-up track “Coco,” he invited each half of the crowd to participate in
chanting one half of the chorus. Once the song was over, he awarded the winning side with
a bunch of free t-shirts. This brought the energy to a peak, which he capitalized on by
closing out his set with the global smash-hit “Mood.”

Illuminated by visuals from every angle, Chase Atlantic opened to thunderous applause
with “Die For Me,” the second single released from their upcoming album “Lost in
Heaven.” For the first time in almost 8 years, drowning in red light, the band performed
their fan-favorite 2017 track “Consume.” This tour also features the live debut of
“Ricochet,” the band’s most recent release. The setlist included no less than five
unreleased songs to be included on “Lost in Heaven,” all of which drove the crowd’s
energy through the roof. They ended the show with “Swim” and, for the first time since
2018, their underground classic “Church.” After Chase Atlantic walked off-stage, fans
went ballistic in anticipation of one last song. Mitchell, the lead singer, led them in a chant
for one more song, and the band returned to cap off the night with the 2015 banger
“Friends” – even now, the song that receives their most plays every day.
