“Bleed Me Dry” - Sam Tabor / Single Review

Sam Tabor released his new single, “Bleed Me Dry,” today, August 28, 2026. Using vampiric imagery, Tabor explores themes of surrender, obsession, and devotion, touching on the point where those feelings can begin to feel self-destructive.

Since the release of his 2025 album, Tabor has continued to move toward more personal and vulnerable songwriting. “Bleed Me Dry” follows that direction, opening with a slower and more honest approach to feelings of sadness and disappointment surrounding another person.

The first verse touches on loneliness, shame, and frustration before leading into the chorus: “I know the reason why / you only leave your house at night / the sunlight burns your eyes / so drink my blood and bleed me dry.” The lyrics use the song’s vampiric theme to explore a relationship built around consuming devotion.

Around the 2:10 mark, the song picks up with a heavier beat and more energetic vocals. The shift gives the track a stronger sense of momentum going into the final verse and chorus.

Overall, “Bleed Me Dry” is an emotional indie-rock track that continues Tabor’s move toward more personal songwriting. With its combination of honest lyrics and heavier instrumentation, it’s a song that can easily find its way into your daily rotation.
