“Kylaa’s Shit” - Yg Zxggy

Yg Zxggy, a multifaceted independent artist within the music and fashion industries, released a new single “Kylaa’s Shit” on Valentine’s Day this year.

The intro of the beat is a near acoustic undertone start that quickly picks up within the first 20 seconds of the song. Both vocally and instrumentally Zxggy was able to create seamless transitions throughout this entire single.

Lyrically, the predominant message is clear that personal matters of any respect in an individual’s life should always be prioritized over irrelevant animosity. “Kylaa’s Shit” is not only a perfect example to the artist’s personal beliefs, but also tells a story with references to personal experiences. This release can offer a sense of perspective to people who have been struggling with intrapersonal relationships and breaking into the societal barriers that are in place.

Being able to handle society’s expectations and break them simultaneously is something Starwave Magazine team’s mission always strives for; Yg Zxggy’s newest release is a flawless example of just that.

In order for anyone to succeed they must put business and personal responsibilities first, just as Zxggy has been doing. This artist puts effort and dedication into his work and breaks the “normal” expectations of talent, that some people could never comprehend. That is true art.

“Kylaa’s Shit” is a great new listen by an incredibly talented upcoming artist offering insight into something raw and relatable.
