Lauren Mandel, known by stage name LØLØ, is a quickly rising pop-rock artist. took the stage at Bottom Lounge, in Chicago, IL. The artist brought along Caroline Romano with her to open up the show for that night. Caroline Romano put on a great performance to prepare the crowd for what was next. When Caroline went off the stage, the lights did too. The fans were jittery and chatting with one another waiting in anticipation for LØLØ’s set to begin. Fans cheered when the stage lights flashed on and LØLØ’s bandmates walked on and took their positions. The audience then went silent when LØLØ’s voice spread across the room on speaker starting with her iconic “dear diary” opening sequence, building the suspense even more. A few moments later, she ran onto the stage entering a galvanizing performance. Her opening song was her hit single, “The Devil Wears Converse”, an energizing song about reflecting on a man’s horrid character and realizing that later. It is also is the first track on this tour’s dedicated albumgod forbid a girl spits out her feelings. She lead on into “pretty little wreck” which had a huge amount of positive crowd response as this is the artist’s most recent release. Throughout the show LØLØ was able to keep a high energy and interactive stage performance paired with her astounding vocal capabilities. She owned that stage like she actually does and made that venue her own place for her fans and her for the night. The crowd was happily satisfied walking out of the venue, still high off the energy of LØLØ’s performance.
